A cross gives four-way flow in one seamless body. Compared with two tees welded together it removes a weld, shortens the assembly and reduces the number of leak paths in a congested skid — the reason cross fittings appear on manifolds and distribution headers.
Hydraulic bulge or hot press forming, with a symmetric body so flow splits evenly between the three outlet ports.
Bore transitions are blended to keep the pressure drop close to that of an equivalent tee pair.
Ends bevelled to ASME B16.25 for the ordered schedule; reducing crosses marked run × branch.
RT/UT and hydrostatic test certificates available.
