Forged elbows are made from solid bar by hot forging, so the grain runs continuously around the bend. In small-bore high-pressure work — instrument root valves, seal flushes, sample points — that is the difference between a fitting that holds and one that cracks at the thread root.
90° and 45° in socket weld (SW) and threaded (NPT / BSP) patterns; 3000LB, 6000LB and 9000LB.
Standard sizes DN6–DN100, extended to DN150/DN200 on request for heavy-wall pipe.
Socket depth, bore and wall thickness follow ASME B16.11, so the fitting accepts the matching Sch80/XS or XXS pipe without a mismatch at the weld.
Threads are NPT to ASME B1.20.1 unless BSPP / BSPT is specified.
NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 material with hardness verification is available for wet H2S.
Impact-tested grades are supplied for low-temperature service down to −46 °C and below.
